Vicki Norris, author and founder of the locally operated, nationally recognized company, Restoring OrderTM, will be hosting a “Simplify Sale: A Unique Community Yard Sale” the 4th Saturday of July, August and September – 9am – 2pm each day, starting Saturday, July 25th.
In a unique tri-fecta, Vicki Norris has designed a FREE community event like no other.
1. Yard Sale: The 4th Saturday in July, August and September, people rent stations for $25 each ($40 for 2 stations) and sell their household items.
2. Outdoor Concert & BBQ: Cry of Stones is the featured band with AB Catering offering BBQ, Snow Cones and Lemonade. 3. Charity Event: Useful household goods that don’t sell will be donated to Love INC.
The sale is designed around the central theme of clearing clutter and simplifying lives. All who attend the sale will have a chance to win an organizing makeover!
Individuals who want to simplify their lives by letting go of clutter may sign up to rent a station on one of the 3 days of the multi day event.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Vicki and was impressed by her work to help people simplify and organize their lives but also her desire to do so in a way that helps her community while creating a benefit for Love INC.
I want to raise awareness of the services and scope of Love INC,” enthuses Norris. They’ll be onsite at the Simplify Sales and we’ll have trailers set up to collect all the useful goods that people want to directly donate or that don’t sell. This way, everyone wins. Love INC wins by gaining new items they can distribute to the needy through their various ministries and the table-holder participants win by being able to directly donate their items and receive a tax-deductible receipt. They can come with a car full of clutter and leave with money in their pocket and an empty car! Finally, the public wins by shopping recycled goods and finding bargains while enjoying fun, food, and music!
