Re-Enlist: Join the Movement!
Last week I heard stomping feet. I stomped along with the sound I heard. It was like an army was arising and headed somewhere important. I added my feet to the groundswell effort. I stomped too.
The army that was arising was an army of order-restorers. These were the people that want to change the world.
This was the army that the world and all its broken systems are waiting for….
The business system is waiting for these.
The health system is waiting for these.
The education system is waiting for these.
The family system is waiting for these.
The government system is waiting for these.
All the messed-up, left-behind, forgotten, abandoned, and hopeless are waiting for THIS ARMY.
This army of order-restorers is coming!
Not only have I enlisted in this army; I am a general in this army.
I am going to do my part to gather them, equip them, and launch them like arrows into the world to take back what has been lost. To reclaim that which is upside-down and hurting.
An order-restorer, however, can only give away to others what they first possess.
An order-restorer must first apprehend ORDER in all the areas of their life before they can impact the world.
As they experience wholeness and fullness in their life, they qualify to pass it onto others.
I heard a great piece of wisdom one time: “Only take advice from someone you would trade places with.”
Can you imagine how much time and money and angst we would have saved throughout our lives if we only took input from those whose lives were TOGETHER – inside and out?
Order-restorers ARE those people. They’re the ones who can dispense freely wisdom, love, and peace. All the things this out-of-control world lacks. Because they possess that which money can’t buy!
What else does an order-restorer look like?
Their inside world matches their outside world. They’re congruent.
Their life has been pruned. They’ve willingly been humbled and received grace.
Their home life and work life are exemplary and at peace. Unity reigns in their life.
They live to serve. They’re a friend to all.
They are owned by no one and nothing. They’re free agents.
They’re as familiar with sacrifice as they are with abundance. They understand those are in fact inseparable.
Order-restorers exist to help others reclaim their lives!
Because there are a lot of folks out there who need to get control of their out-of-control lives.
They’re an arising bunch, too…..
Life reclaimists are the emerging ones who are finally putting their foot down to stop the madness. They are:
People who are no longer content with the brokenness in the world at large. And in their own world.
People who want their life back…at home and at work.
People who want their health back.
People who want their heart back.
Men and women who KNOW deep down inside that until they restore order in their own lives they cannot contribute their greatness to the world.
So here we have it: two groups of people: Order Restorers and Life Reclaimists. Which are you?
Are you healed up, whole, and free?
Does your life testify to order in all areas?
Do you know who YOU are?
Well then, YOU are an Order Restorer. Your journey into wholeness has led you here. Welcome to the army!
Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?
Are you fed up with smallness and stuckness?
Do you wish you could remove an obstacle your life?
Well then, YOU are a Life Reclaimist! You can begin your journey now, cheered on by those of us who are just a few miles down this country road ahead….and we are calling out “YOU CAN DO IT!” “You must do it!!”
Before the boots can start stompin’, it’s decision time.
It’s time to decide if you will stay with the status quo or join the change agents.
It’s time to RE-Enlist. To sign up again for living. To put your name on the list. To list yourself among a community of DOERS.
World-changing talk is invigorating for the moment but can leave us more DISillusioned when we compare that momentary uplifting speaker, conference, or mountain-top experience with the real, broken, unchanged world.
What is it going to take for us – as a culture – to move from cheap talk to action?
The answer is YOU. The answer is ME.
Activated You.
Activated Me.
So, if you want to change the world, to contribute what’s inside of you into the earth…the only way to do so is to start by objectively assessing where you’re at, and then step IN.
If you’re overwhelmed in one or more areas of life, join the movement of Life Reclaimists who are making an intentional departure from obligatory living. They are choosing to become their own advocate and adopt new thinking, new perspectives,new manners of living. They’re committing to THEMSELVES to move OUT of anonymity and smallness and INTO order so they can contribute to the world.
If you’ve been on a long journey of healing and growth that has led you into wholeness and peace, now you must find your SO THAT. After all, you’ve not gone through all this so you can kick back and check out. You’ve endured and overcome SO THAT you can contribute what you’ve learned and HEAL the broken world. If you wonder what’s next and how you’ll get that platform you’ve been built for, join the movement of Order Restorers whose lives are virally disrupting the status quo and healing brokenness. These restored souls can fall in line next to others. They can link arms because they’ve dropped offense and comparison. They know who they are.
