perfect your pantry

Your local food pantry will thank you, and all you have to do is get real about what you’re really using.

If you’re like a lot of folks, you can overbuy certain items. Pruning your pantry is a great time to get rid of unused as well as past-due food.

If you want to make this a fun space, paint the walls a contrasting color, select themed bins that go with your decorating style, and even swap out the door for a porch door, Dutch door, curtain, or other unusual entry.

I like to separate my snacks by sweet and salty in vintage baskets.

Pull out shelves or a built-in system is a snazzy upgrade but most of us can get creative and make what we already have work beautifully.
